It’s like entering a spaceship. Constança Cordeiro – one of the most exciting barmaids on the Lisbon scene, and in charge of Toca da Raposa bar – created a tiny space with a futuristic vibe that seats nine people at a time. At the centre of the rock-shaped sponge counter – designed by the Portuguese company, Softrock – Constança prepares cocktails from an original menu that doesn’t reveal ingredients, just flavour profiles. With fermented kiwi, toasted rice, lichen, jasmine, dragon fruit and dill, the Benae Jessa is a must-try.
Insider tip. Reservations allow for a slot of an hour and a half each, so better to let the staff know if you intend to stay longer.
