Guelra
The younger brother of a beloved venue from Belém called O Frade, Guelra sets its sights on fish and seafood. It has three dining areas, the most memorable being the counter with just a handful of seats – the perfect place for a chat with the chefs, who are always happy to explain the dishes on the menu in detail. There are Japanese inspirations, others more Portuguese, but above all creativity, such as the Maguro Sando (tuna steak, sriracha and coleslaw sauce), the Cod Carpaccio or Mackerel with Coriander Vinaigrette.
Fun fact. Look out for the signature cocktails, such as the Tequila Ginger and Guelra Sour.
