Designers favorite restaurants!
We asked to some of the coolest designers and artists in town to share their hidden gems in Lisbon.
Ceramic studio formed of Margaux Carel a Paris-born, Lisbon-based artist, and former textile designer, Clotilde de Kersauson. Each exploring ceramics with their own personal artistic processes. Join them on 22 May for a welcome breakfast at the studio.

Cafeh Tehran
Why: Consistent and easy, the menu barely changes but their dishes are delicious. The vibe is unpretentious and not trendy, as it should.

Joojeh kebab is my favourite dish, genuinely made and seasoned, I highly recommend. Their rich soups are a must too.
Silvia Matias
Silvia Matias is a graphic designer specialized in crafting bespoke creative strategies and tailored visual languages for each client. Silvia created Lisbon Design Week 2024 poster, soon seen on billboard around Lisbon. With a multi-disciplinary approach, Silvia works in different areas of Creative, Graphic Design, Art Direction, Branding, Editorial, Digital Design, and Advertising.

Why: he place is beautiful! I love how Rita (the owner) and the team welcome everyone. It’s incredible how they blend Traditional Portuguese Cuisine with Palopean dishes and offer outstanding Vegan options. Every week, they present a different menu and new flavors!

Joana Astolfi

Architect, artist and designer. She designed many of the best restaurants, bars and hospitality projects around Lisbon and Portugal. For Astolfi life, art and architecture all find their balance between beauty and playfulness, between sophistication and irreverence, and in the constant flow between memory to fantasy to the richness of every passing present moment.

Why: I love this jungle rooftop over Lisbon with niches and seating alcoves, the bohemian vibe, the seasonal European cuisine with a Latino twist, the sunset drinks, the vibrant music and great DJs.

Based in Praça das Flores, Flores Textile Studio, is founded by Valentina Pilia and Emma Pucci, and specializes in handmade textile production specialist in textile and interior design that elevate one-of-a-kind craftsmanship. With a special collaboration for LDW - photographer & designer Shahid Datawala combines Indian and Portuguese cinema of the 30’s with Flores scenographic furniture with stone and clay. Catch the late night opening on May 24.

Studio by João Maria Bernardino, a designer from Lisbon, part of the studio collective @MariaDezasseis. Creating pieces that seek to be modern, raw and brutal yet elegant and clean. Working mainly with hand tools and the chainsaw and local raw materials, such as wood, metal, stone and whatever he can get his hands on.
